Meet Caroline

Meet Caroline (Bio & Experience).

Caroline, founder of Sea Change Coaches, is a Leadership Coach and Consultant in Organization Change. She has thirty years’ experience as a global HR executive and has worked in financial services for over twenty years with a niche in partnering with professionals in the Financial Crime Compliance industry.  Caroline is Zambian born, South African raised, Dutch national, living and working in the US, and lives life as an experiential anthropologist with a fierce curiosity to understand people and their worldviews. This life interest has led Caroline to live and work in Africa, Europe and North America. 

These first-hand experiences have instilled a deep respect for the rich diversity of ways in which people see and relate in the world.  They have also revealed resounding consistency for people to feel seen, heard and understood. Caroline has a degree in Organizational Psychology; a master’s in Finance, holds a post graduate diploma in Neuro-Leadership and is a certified Ontological coach and licensed Enneagram practitioner. She continues to deepen her learning around latest research that casts greater light into understanding how and why we think, act and feel as we do, and the remarkable intelligence and resilience in our human capacity to accomplish the unfathomable.

Caroline worked side by side with globally respected Global Financial Crime Compliance leaders in the design and development of FCC operating models supporting the transformation of the financial crime compliance program of a leading international banking enterprise.

Through this work, she noticed that where there was alignment around the magnitude of the challenge; where the social glues of shared commitment and accountability cemented the sense of “I’ve got your back”, progress skyrocketed.  Occasionally, situations arose where progress stalled, an inevitable reality of life. In these situations, Caroline questioned “What breakthroughs can accelerate moving through this and back onto the path of progress”? “How can I support leaders in this”? Sea Change Coaches has an established approach that is committed to this.
