Leading Through Change

Are you open to seeing things differently?

”Astonishing! Everything is intelligent.” - Pythagoras

Invest in yourself, your team – to lead through change.

Organizations don’t change, people change. Change happens in the micro-interactions between people.

Where change programs focus on the what and how, change leadership focuses on the personal aspects of change. Change leadership coaching gets to the heart of driving meaningful change -paying attention to people, centering on their state of mind and mindset through the journey of change. Change Leadership coaching guides you to experience and understand the biology of your mind and body, and how to work with it for better results.

Building clarity of awareness of our human biology leads to better quality conversations and relationships which leads to better quality results.

What Change Leadership Coaching Offers

Change starts with you.

It readies you for and through the what and how of change.

To find a better way to do financial crime compliance, you will be asking for a change in others – to do things differently, let go of something, and move forward with you. How willing are you to be changed in that exchange to get in sync with them?

We can observe what we do and how we do it.  Being aware of and paying attention to our state of mind, particularly in the moment, is a lot more difficult.

What do you need to shift at a personal level and what do you need to role model? Do you know?

Develop strategies which drive higher effectiveness.

Increase your awareness of your state of mind, see the impact it has, and develop strategies that drive higher effectiveness.

Your mood and state of mind matters more than you realize. Change can be daunting and exhilarating; choppy, and fluid. Change has an impact on your state of mind, and the energy of your mood transmits to the people around you.

Research shows that our state of mind affects others up to three degrees of separation away. When change feels uncertain, people can feel defensive. And, when we perceive threat, our capacity to be receptive, to collaborate, to consider and create new ways forward, diminishes. The very state of mind that is needed to perform- shuts down when feeling threatened. The way to bring this back online, is through cultivating a state of mind which models trust and safety. An emerging body of literature points to psychological safety as a powerful driver of leadership, team, and organizational performance, particularly in rapidly changing environments.

How aware are you of your state of mind and its impact on your own performance and those of others?

Expand your understanding – expand your possibilities.

Surface what is below the waterline and enrich the quality of attention and intention to actions.

Our mindset is our human operating system interacting with the world. It refers to our beliefs, assumptions, values, and biases that selectively access and organize information, shaping how we perceive the world, interpret information, and interact with others.

How aware are you of your own paradigms and beliefs locking you into your current way of thinking and doing things? What do you need to let go of, for example for better quality conversations? What do you pay attention to? How does this differ from others?

Change happens through people, and change can get stuck because of people. Below the waterline elements such as unspoken assumptions, unwritten rules, and stories deeply anchor the way things get done. Does your change program invest in surfacing these paradigms to examine whether they still serve directionally?

“Armed with native curiosity, Caroline coached me toward solutions by encouraging me to begin with me. Never preaching, never telling, always showing by marking the general course, she operationalized a core lesson of leadership: that solutions to complex, wicked problems being with – and within – the leader. She challenged with expertly prepared, pragmatic questions that channeled me to focus on my own self-awareness, my communications approach, and my biases considering the organization’s trajectory.

The resulting clarity helped me see what “is” and what could and should be. Paths across complex grounds emerged and led us to a better place”.

- Vince H., Financial Crime Compliance Executive
